Happy National Scrapbook Day

First - please stop by the Imaginisce blog for the May Sketch challenge kick off. This month's sketch is by the fabulously talented Robyn Schaub. Add a comment to the blog and you will be entered into a drawing for some Imaginisce goodness. Leave a comment here and on any of the other design team blogs who participated in the sketch challenge this month and you increase your odds of winning. Don't forget to stop by the Imaginisce Facebook page too for even more chances of winning.

Next - stop by the Paper Poppy blog today for some fun challenges and a chance to win some prizes. This layout is one I created with the super yummy May kit and has a specific challenge associated with it. But... you have to stop by the Paper Poppy blog around 3:00pm to find out what it is. Aphra is also offering $5 off any purchases made from the store this weekend. Use coupon code NSD2010 at the Paper Poppy store to receive the discount.

Also - I know that banners are really popular right now, so I created this layout using photos instead of paper flags to create mine. I also added miniature clothespins to hang them from the ric rac clothesline. Such a fun way to display photos on a multiple photo layout. I also love Jillibean Soup and the Alphabet Soup collection was a perfect choice for these photos of my daughter doing her homework. Two Peas in a Bucket is offering a banner challenge for NSD, so stop by and enter your latest project and possibly win a prize.

Finally - I don't alter very often, but here is a little birdhouse I altered with some of the Pebbles Inc. So Tweet papers and stickers. My daughter actually made the birdhouse from one of the kids' Saturday projects offered by Home Depot. She said it was okay if I "borrowed" the project to decorate. Pebbles just released their newest lines. Stop by the blog next week to see the release of Twitterpated.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day of scrappiness!

  4. oh my gosh, Liz, I love the "move it, move it" idea! Your projects are awesome as always! The tiny clothespins for a banner were a great idea too - I think I pitched my tiny clothespins a long time ago! See, that's why we can't ever get rid of anything because as soon as you do, you see a good idea to use it! Happy Scrapbooking Day!
