Our Little Chef

A little something to make you smile...

My sister recently sent my daughter a birthday present that included this little ensemble. What can she cook you might ask? A mean Mac N Cheese!

Sunday Sketch, September 20th

This layout is for Ginnifer Maloney's Back to School challenge. The photo is my daughter's kindergarten portrait from last year. We'll have a 1st grade portrait in the near future. I am just loving the Pebbles Inc. Lil' Miss collection. The colors are so fun and the floral patterns are adorable. Plus, Pebbles has an amazing collection of matching chipboard pieces called Pebbles Chips which come in about 12 color variations. They are so versatile that I was able to make a back to school page. Please check out the blog for more info on the challenge, not to mention there is always something going on each week.

Thank you for stopping by - Liz

Sunday Sketch, August 30th

I have to apologize for my absence. I am part of the professional development team for the school district I work for and August is our Super Bowl month of training for our teachers. The amount of hours I have been logging at work have really eaten into my scrap time. However, we finished off the month relatively unscathed and I found some time to scrap this weekend.

Marielle LeBlanc is hosting a Monochromatic Challenge at the Pebbles Inc. blog this week. This is my interpretation of my sketch and that challenge. I used the Pebbles Inc. Skipping Along line as well as their pink Pebbles Chips and Candy Dots. Thank you for stopping by.

Sunday Sketch, July 26th

What can you do to make creative borders for your layouts? Two photos and an idea for a masculine layout make this an all around sketch. Feel free to replace stars with other embellishments or girl it up with some flowers. Have fun - Liz

These are the new Pebbles Inc. Lil' Buddy papers. They are so darn cute and the colors and patterns have so much potential. I used an EK Success stamp punch around the border of the navy Bubba paper and then cut out the center so the light blue Blankie paper would show through the center and around the edges. I just love the cardstock stickers that come with this line of papers. Isn't that turtle darling? Pebbles Inc. also does the cutest little patterns on the opposite side of the paper description strip, which is what I used for the little strip of stars on my layout. Please visit the Pebbles Inc. Blog for more ideas and inspiration with Lil' Buddy.
