Sunday Sketch, January 31st

This is a sketch I made for a challenge at Willow Traders back in November. I love to do scallops and circles, and this sketch is pretty straight forward and gives ample opportunity to work with flowers and flourishes (a personal favorite).

This is a rare photo of me and my son. You know...the kind of photo where you say, "Hey honey, do you think you could take a picture of me and the kids, so when they get older they will think I actually did fun things with them instead of just you all the time..." Of course he obliged. LOL!

For my layout I used an old Bazzill scalloped die cut. I know there are so many cute ones out there from the MFGs, but I still need to utilize my "old school" scallops. I also used a compass to trace two different sized circles on white cardstock and on one of the Imaginisce Scooter's Vacation papers. I also mixed some of the Imaginisce Perfectly Posh collection with the Scooter's Vacation. The blues are an exact match. The flowers are all from Imagnisce and I used my new Cricut to make the vines and leaves.

Thank you for stopping by - Liz

Love this, Liz! I think you totally rocked that "old school" Bazzill scalloped circle. An oldie but a goodie!!! Love that you mixed the Imaginisce lines, too. They look wonderful together!
