Imaginisce Sketch Challenge

Uh ohhhhhh - It's that time again!  Time for another amazing blog hop and sketch challenge with Imaginisce.  This month we have a sketch from my wonderful and amazingly talented friend Melinda Spinks.  As usual, I went back into the archives and pulled out some of the Imaginisce Birthday Bash collection to create this layout.

As you can see Melinda cooked us up an amazing sketch and I love what she did with the little heart stems, but alas I was not feeling the mojo for hearts.  However, I totally channeled balloons instead!

The Birthday Bash collection comes with an amazing balloon paper called It's a Party, but I am not the most patient fussy cutter and I was really interested in some balloon string to mirror the heart stems in Melinda's sketch, so I used my Cricut Celebrate Flourish cartridge to cut the balloons at various sizes.  Then I used the Billionaire cartridge to cut the number 2's to add to the green balloons. 

It's not really a layout until you find a reason to add some bling or gems with your i-rock.  Who knew that a tool this inexpensive could be such a genuine treat to use.  I find an excuse just to carry it around with me...The other day at work my boss said, "What is that pink thing in your purse???"  It was a bit of an uncomfortable moment and didn't really get any easier when I said, "It's my i-rock."  LOL!!!!The Birthday Bash chipboard is lovely and an easy addition to any project.  I think I should have added the 4 here and kind of overlooked that...oh well Scrapping Goes On - Just like life.
