Sunday Sketch, Guest Designers and Me

It's our first sketch of November and it's a simple design just to keep you die hards interested in the upcoming month that I am sure will be very busy for most of us.  Hope you all like the clean lines and can really showcase some of your photos.  The guest designers did a fantastic job of creating examples, wait and see...  I'll post the winner of the October challenge some time tomorrow and then put the November Sketch Challenge up shortly thereafter.  As always, thank you for playing along.  I love to see what all of you do with my sketches :)
Sandra Dunne is our featured designer this week and she created a very fun layout to share with all of you.  Here is a little bit about her, "I am a married SAHM in Ireland. I started scrapbooking in 2006 after my daughter was born but quickly found out that I loved to make all kinds of papercrafts. I especially love mini books and paperfolding projects. My style of scrapping varies depending on the subject or my mood at the time, I can go from over the top embellishing to very clean and simple."
This is what Sandra told me about her project and working with the sketch this week, "I followed today's sketch quite closely as I love the positioning of each element. I also loved that I needed only to use one flower to keep the sketch unchanged as I tend not to use a lot of flowers on boy layouts. I am delighted to be one of Liz's guest designers and look forward to seeing everyone else's take on this sketch"

Lisa Watson had this to say about her project with the sketch, "After checking out the sketch I decided to play with some Jillibean Soup Monster Stew papers. I knew I had some photos of my son with this monster shirt.  I used a star border punch to create the bottom border and fussy cut some of the monsters for embellishments."

Bonnie Friesen returns for another to share her wonderful work.  This is what she has to say about working with the sketch, "I was really excited when I saw this sketch of Liz's!  It is a simple sketch that you can do alot with.  I wanted to use as many different kinds of techniques as possible, from the water distressed papers, handmade flowers and sugared letters and lots of ink!  I am very happy how this layout turned out, and it all started with this great sketch by one amazing artist! For more details and close ups check out my blog!"

Me - I love simple designs so that the photos do all the talking.  I created this layout of my daughter with the adorable Pink Hoot collection from Adornit

Hope you all  have a fantastic week and thank you so much for stopping by -
